Vintage 1927 B.W. Raymond Elgin's Flag-Star Official Railroad Watch in Rare Patented Keystone Case

Here we have one of the most understated railroad grade watches, the Elgin B.W. Raymond which over the years came in several different varieties of movements, cases, dials and more. This model features a single sunk full Montgomery dial, a railroad grade 21 jewel movement (made in the USA) with specifications for the 478 of this model, this was not a long run. Most important to highlight is the rare Keystone 10k yellow gold filled case that was patented to use the Elgin name and model name; which I imagine was part of a short-term case making contract. These cases are very unusual unless I'm missing something; I have only seen a hand-full, which isn't a lot. This watch is in great condition for its age. Here are the flaws, there is a very faint hairline 3-4 o'clock (I cannot see it by looking naked eye), brassing on the edges of the case back and on the bail - see pictures. This is a very nice watch don't get me wrong, but what makes this B.W. Raymond pocket watch extremely special, more than others, is the case.
