I love finding these tough to find Grades and variations of some of these famous pocket watches like the BW Raymond.  The dial appears to be a near perfect Montgomery dial.  This is a high grade 21 jewel Invar hairspring Elgin grade 472 officially certified for use on the railroad.  At least it was nearly 100 years ago.   This Elgin is in its original 14k yellow gold filled case with a personal hand engraving on the back.  I've said this many times in the past and I say it again, a lot of serious collectors like personal engravings now more so than in the past; it helps authenticate a watch in many ways.  Overall, the case is in excellent condition along with the super clean movement.  This watch was just serviced and is running very well.  As will all railroad watches, this is a lever set watch.  Side note, this is a tough to find grade with very low production.
