I will just start out by saying that this watch needs a new crystal as shown in the photo.  The crack actually doesn't go all the way through, but it's not the right crystal anyway, so consider it done since we are servicing it now June 2018.  It will be completed upon purchase with no delays.  This is a fantastic example of a WWII 992B Official Issue Military piece.  This one has one of the rarer variations and very sought after movement marked " U.S. GOVT".  The rare 24 hour variation dial appears perfect and I cannot see any hairlines or cracks.  The case is in good condition with only wear as a flaw, most noticed in the back of the watch with light brassing in the center; the front is really not as worn.  I will also point out that this is a very high grade watch for the military to purchase.  This is a excellent investment grade military piece.  It has a near perfect porcelain dial with a rare variation and it has the "U.S. GOVT" marked on the movement; and overall the watch is in great shape and will be just serviced with a new proper replacement crystal.
