Vintage 1920's Waltham Men's Wrist Very Rare in Solid 14k White Gold
This is a very early example of some of the first designs and production of Men's wrist watches. This is a high-end very rare piece with navy blue enameling on the bezel all in perfect extremely well preserved condition. This watch needed a lot of work on the movement when I decided to curate it, so I've had it for over a year waiting on finding the correct replacement parts, which was a very hard task, as not tons of these movements were made. Anyhow, we found them all and this watch is fully serviced and keeping great time. It's a beautiful and eye catching watch and has its original dial and Breguet hands and a stick seconds hand; all steel heated to create the blue color. The movement is a sturdy one, so it can be worn as a daily wearer with just the caution of the fact that the case is inherently softer because it's solid gold. This is a very small watch, about 30mm, I think you would have to be a fairly slender man if you wanted to wear it. It would also make a fantastic ladies watch. Of course if you're a collector it doesn't matter, the rarity and condition of the piece is enough to know how valuable this it. This is a museum grade early American made wrist watch.
