From what I understand the Tapp-77 has been around for quite a while and was developed in the USSR. It has been documented that both Iraqi and some US allied forced used this TAP-77 model phone during desert storm. The box is dated in 1987. Everything is original, it's in near mint condition and the case is an awesome heavy duty bakelite material. I have not powered the device so that has not been tested, but it's in near perfect condition and would be useless to power up anyhow. Great conversation piece for the house and a great gift for any one that was in this war.
