The A17 by Waltham is an official USA military issue watch known for its high quality specs and very handsome dial; making it one of the most sought after military pieces. This watch was produced post WWII when less of these were made, especially by Waltham. What attracted me most to this piece was the pitch black dial with awesome patina , the correct original crown, hacking feature, and the unique serial numbers on the case back, making each of these different which is not the case with most other official issue watches. Great pieces like these are becoming harder and harder to find. The watch was serviced April 2018 and has a very clean 17 jewel manual wind movement. This official military watch is presented with the strap as found, a vintage black one piece NATO strap - looks like it may be the original strap with very little wear.
