Vintage 1940's WWII Official USA Military Issue Grade WG Elgin Stunning Dial
You don't need to put your glasses on to see that this general issue military grade WG by Elgin is all around stunning, especially the dial. The bright white dial is unblemished while the lume is nearly all intact with a beautiful cream patina that sets this watch aside from others. In general the grade WG is not too common from Elgin and is a great investment piece as the prices of official military watches continue to increase in value year over year. Aside from that, it's a great daily wearer or addition to any fine military watch collection. The watch is presented on one piece NATO style black with stainless steel buckle. The watch is all original aside from the new strap and was serviced April 2018. Buyer beware, when shopping for this watch type outside of AdamVintage, you must be careful. Grade WG is not common. Years ago on Ebay, there was a couple sellers that flooded the market with counterfeit cases. The engraving on the back is a telltale sign of a problem...the counterfeit cases look slightly different.
