The original Hamilton Pan-Europ line-up was one of my favorite Swiss Hamilton's made. They were obviously a line-up of sportsman watches; some more versatile like this one while others were clearly dive watches. In fact, we have another pan-europ for sale and it's an amazing looking rare colors diver. With this piece, you have a very nice evenly patina original dial with sweet crosshairs, tritium dial, signed pan-europ, date function and original crown. Case has never been polished from what I can tell. But the best part is yet to come. One of the trademarks of a pan-europ is the engraved case-back. A really stunning pegasis centered around the reference numbers and other informational engravings. The only flaw the is notable is a scratch on the edge of the case-back. It's actually really not that bad but I wanted to disclose it. It doesn't touch any of the engravings and doesn't impact the case integrity so it is a non-issue. Overall, this is a really great pan-europ. It kind of reminds me of the Explorer in the Rolex line-up in the sense that it is very versatile; can be worn casually or dress-up. You may choose a strap option take purchase the watch with no strap.
