This is a really cool military style watch from the WWII era. From researching this company there is little know and they appear to be very small micro brands. My guess is that this is a private label watch, meaning O. Maire was the manufacturer and Hialeah is the private label. The case and movement are both signed O. Maire which is a verified, but very small old Swiss case maker and manufacturer; and Hialeah I found was a retail jeweler; it appears they also started manufacturing sometimes in the 50's. So that's what those names boil down to. But, that's not why this watch is awesome and worth every penny. First, the movement is nice quality and runs fantastic after a fresh service we did. Second, and most important is the dial. The original military style dial is impressive and rare. The outside seconds chapter ring is a great pitch black with hour numerals that have great even patina. Most significant, is the center, which only serves the purpose of the brand, shock protection and 17 jewels...all packed in nicely on the top; the center is a chocolate brown and the entire combination is unbelievable shocking handsome. The watch features a 60sec and hour chapter ring with a black and chocolate colored two-tone dial. Also, a decent Swiss movement, better than most officially ordered military watches. It's a full stainless steel case. This watch comes on a new genuine brown vented strap in genuine leather. This is just a great piece.
