This Racine, made by Gallet, a well regarded Swiss brand widely successful for their military watches and chronographs. This Racine is in amazinging condition. The dial is excellent with a white backdrop followed by a black 60 second chapter ring, cream colored ring with painted numerals that are no longer luminous, all encased in a 30mm case with semi-fancy lugs. The movement is extremely clean just like the rest of the watch. It's a 15 jewel movement of high quality and finishing. Notice the beveling of the plates and quality jewel setting. The movement itself is likely worth more as a replacement than what we are asking for the watch. Speaking about condition, the only notable issue I can find is some iridescent grey tarnish on some of the case, which could be removed with a light polish if you wish. There is no brassing on the case or personal engravings like many of this era. This watch is also very tough to find, especially in this condition. The watch features fine fire blued steel hands with central seconds sweep. The dial appears original (see pictures). The movement is serviced and running within +20 seconds per day in 3 average positions. The case back is snap on/off. The watch is an estate find, and we were originally going to leave the vintage strap on this watch; however, we realized it was too brittle and will supply a new American Made Hadley-Roma strap of your choice when adding it to the store cart. The watch winds and sets very smoothly and is suitable for a Man or Woman - ready to wear or collect. Again, hard to find - don's pass it by if you like the watch. Thank you,
