This is a unique and scarce watch by Endura. The watch is robust measuring at 38mm in diameter and 20mm between the lugs. It's not a perpetual calendar in the technical sense, but this is what they called the watch. Research reveals that very few were made. The key features are design and function. The design is a little eccentric, the top crown screws down to set the bezel and keep it in place for the date; while the bottom crown winds the watch. The day is a manually set function. The watch makes excellent use of color and has very little wear. Endura S.A. is Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1966 by General Watch Company (GWC) in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, for the purpose of manufacturing watches under "private label". This company was also part of the merger between ASUAG and SSIH into SMH, now the Swatch Group. Now attached to ETA SA Manufacture horlogère Suisse, Endura SA is the Private Label and licensing division of the Swatch Group. This watch is serviced and ready to wear and/or collect.
