This chronometer grade pocket watch is extremely scarce.  The high-end 23 jewel 6 adjustments movement has the highest possible finishing capable of Illinois; and possibly the highest quality 12s American pocket watch movement ever produced.  The movement is very tough to find with only 2,740 made; however, this piece is extra special because of the patent pending case shape in which very few were made for this movement. There is no data I can find on how many of these cases were actually made, my best educated guess would be in the single digits. Furthermore, the attention to detail on the original silver dial is magnificent.  The watch has just been overhauled and keeping good time.  Photos were taken prior to service.  It is accompanied with its original box.
