This Enicar piece resembles some of the early Serpa models; except this watch has a major upgrade with a great robust AS base 17 jewel automatic movement. This stunning watch with an original dial features a solid 14k yellow gold bezel and heavy yellow gold capping on the lugs. This was certainly made to be a high end sports model piece. We see details like applied gold indices, gold hands and original pointer style sweep seconds. There are no major problems noted; however, there are some minor cosmetic ones. The original dial shows aging (normal), wear on the gold capped lugs reverse side of the watch (also very normal), the original crown is gold plated over stainless and has excessive wear, only leaving behind a trace of gold when looking at it head on (I actually think the SS looks better anyhow). Overall, this is a very nice vintage piece from what was one of the leading Swiss watch companies of the era. Recently serviced and keeping good time. Ready to wear or collect. This watch is presented on a black lizard strap with buckle.
