A very nice high-end 23j Railroad pocket watch in perfect condition for its age. There is no brassing noted, the dial has no marks or hairlines noted. 1940's Elgin 540 model 15 Railroad Pocket Watch. Size 16s, 23 Jewels, Openface, Lever movement setting, 3/4 Plate, Jewelled motor, Adjusted # of positions is 5. Watch is in great condition and running. It's just been serviced and keeping excellent time. The crylal is clear with only minor marks seen in bright light with Jewelers loupe. 10k gold filled case. Very nice watch. 23 jeweled railroad watches are becoming very hard to find. Don't miss this gorgeous piece.
