This is a beautiful large 18s size triple hinged stem set Elgin pocket watch. The watch is an early production with a stunning classical engraving depicting an estate. The bright white porcelain Montgomery dial is perfect, with no hairlines, the movement, and yellow gold filled case are extremely well preserved. This watch is running with near perfect time and has been serviced. Everything is original. The full plate movement with its fired blued screws is mesmerizing. This would be a great addition to any pocket watch collection and an excellent gift for someone that wants a near perfect antique pocket watch. Thank you.
