Mint Condition one owner Patek Philippe Neptune Vintage 1990's Black Dial Stainless Steel
The Patek Philippe Neptune is perhaps the most forgotten, most beautiful and most versatile sports watch in the 1990's line-up including the Nautilus and the Aquanaut. For some reason, the public didn't agree, and this rare bird was dismissed with only a few years under its belt not to be seen again. There was little production compared to other models, especially in this preferred full stainless steel with pitch black gloss dial. The importance of this watch, not just for PP but for sports watches in general, this was truly the first sports watch IMO that you could go from the ocean to the golf course and then onto a dinner party without ever changing your watch. This is pure sports luxury - you could easily get away with wearing this with a tee or a tux. And so many say such a watch doesn't exist....haha. This Neptune is a one owner watch powered by the PP Cal. 315 ultra-thin automatic (same as the Nautilus of the era I believe). It is fitted for a 7.5" wrist and I have two extra links bringing it to a little over 8" max. The watch is completely original, no flaws and no problems to speak of or not to speak of. This Neptune has been serviced and is running at far better than chronometer specs. Thank you.
