Scarce and highly sought after, this Omega Cal. 321 Seamaster is vintage 1958-1962 (serial # 19584571) and is in complete and original condition. The Seamaster Chronograph was created in 1946. It was formerly called “27 CHRO C12 T2” and thereafter the caliber 321 used on the first generation “moon watches”. This Caliber 321 is about as early as it gets for the use of this movement by Omega, which eventually became the famed moon watch, the first and only mechanical chronograph to be certified by NASA for space travel. This Omega Seamaster Cal. 321 is in 14k gold shell over stainless steel with a solid 14k gold bezel. It measures approximately 34MM not including the crown or pushers and comes on a new dark brown genuine caiman crocodile Hadley-Roma strap. The serious collector will appreciate the original ( not refinished) off white / gold toned dial, original hands, original crown & pushers along with the hallmarked original case back. It's important to note that the "Seamaster Waterproof" hallmark on the case back is often found completely polished off when one of these rare watches is found. This watch has the hallmark intact which is a very nice feature. Priced to sell, this fine and sought after Omega cal 321 will be a prized addition to your watch collection or fine wardrobe. This watch has been overhauled and all functions are working properly.
