Germinal Voltaire was a true Swiss micro brand that was very highly regarded but somehow just disappeared with little trace of the company expect their watches left behind. It is rumored that this may have been a high-end label dress brand by Jules Jurgensen. Many co-branded cases are known to exist. Either way, they were made in small quantities, because I can tell you from experience, they are not easy to find. They're not hanging around every corner like a gold Hamilton or Rolex. No, these are quite rare and often had well thought out unique design element to the watch. This was certainly considered a designer brand. Take a look at the unique square 14k solid white gold case, in near mint condition. It has some great design features to it, including a floating square effect. Extremely well constructed, the case is a nice chunk of gold - there's nothing flimsy about it. The watch is presented on its original black high-end alligator strap and buckle. This watch has been serviced and is running at close to modern chronometer specs. It's a manual wind. Thank you for looking.
