Vintage Longines 1950's Ultra-Thin All Proof Automatic in Near Mint Condition - Amazing Dial
This Longines watch features a full solid stainless steel case, a 17-jewel manual-wind movement, and a silver vertical textured two piecedial with applied hour markers and a fancy linen-textured pattern in the center. All elements (including signed crown) are original to this watch except for a replacement strap. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of occasional but infrequent wear. The movement runs and keeps excellent time and has been serviced October 2018. The dial is in excellent original condition. This Longines has a very hard to find dial on this stunning watch that it's ready to wear or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. This watch measures about 34mm diameter and is 18mm between the lugs. This estate piece was fitted with a vintage Forstner Komfit stainless steel sliding clasp bracelet, this strap is of the same era and may have been what the customer chose at the jeweler originally. It was not uncommon for people to want a different strap, just like it is not uncommon today. We've removed the stainless strap in favor of a high grade black genuine leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle. We will ship the stainless steel strap with this watch as well.
