This is the very desirable Zodiac Jet Aeronaut with an original black dial - tough to find. Why is it a desirable watch? It's one of the favored military flight watches of the Vietnam war era and even if you don't care about that, it is one of only two notable watches made especially for pilots during this conflict. This lesser-known Zodiac was the comparator of the Glycine Airman having the main feature, a 24-hour dial. This watch, however; is a very stylish watch that can be worn with just about anything, has an awesome preferred black dial with red accents, and is presented on a very well made mesh stainless steel bracelet with a clever latch system. I'm not sure if this is an original bracelet that was an option with this watch, as the bracelet is made by a third party. However, it is of the same period and would work better in the field because it can be adjusted to virtually any known size, making it easy to strap on over a flight suit. This was recently serviced and keeping good time. It is powered by the manual wind Zodiak 721 housed in a solid stainless steel 33mm case.
