Vintage 1970's Omega Constellation Watch Automatic Caliber 711 - A Rare Bird | All Original
FINAL SALE - This is a scarce Omega Constellation 155.0022 from the 1970's with a beautiful pitch black original dial which under magnification, has spidered over the years making it extra special. These watches are a rare bird, but quite attractive. Its original bracelet and case (38mmx31mm) are very high quality and full stainless steel. The watch and bracelet retains its original factory finish and even its original black gasket that surrounds the movement as shown in the photos. Overall, the watch is in excellent vintage condition with minor dings and superficial scratches. This Omega Constellation has its original mineral glass crystal. The highly esteemed automatic caliber 711 has been serviced and running strong keeping time within 10 sec/day. I will point out a couple minor issues with the watch, which explains its low price. The crown is a replacement crown; fits perfect but is not signed. Also, please notice that the Omega symbol insert at the lower obverse of the bracelet is missing. With some diligence, another can be found, and it's easy to get an Omega crown if you wish. Comparables, only a few found, sell for around $1500. The bracelet appears to have all its links, fitting a max 8" wrist. This is a steal and should sell quickly. Thank you.
