When a collector or dealer looks at a watch to determine value, there are many things to look at. One thing, in particular, is the history, business continuity, and pedigree of the brand. In this case, Heli Reymond, a micro-brand, was probably one of a few micro brands that did not only produce high-quality watches but is still in business today. Mostly focused on high-end racing chronographs, the company also made some fantastic dive watches like this Super Compressor. This watch is all original and I mean all components, except for the replacement strap. As usual, we took some time to choose a perfect strap. The watch is presenting on a navy and gray NATO strap that looks very smart and will certainly round out any vintage style. The contrast between the 36mm all stainless steel case, cream dial, black inner rotating bezel and strap is a striking combo. The watch was just serviced and is running +5 sec per day - very good. Overall, this rare find is in excellent vintage condition with many generations of time left on it when properly cared for.
