Vintage 1950's U.S. Military Issue Bulova Wrist Watch Cal. 10AK Rare Grade WG
This issue military watch with its original silver / cream dial with sub seconds is hard to find. There is not much known about Military Issue Grade WG in terms what its primary use was. They were also specified in the issue order to not engrave US military inventory numbers, which is quite strange - all of these are issued without numbers (at least from over 10 years of seeing examples I don't believe it was indicated in the order). This leads me to believe they for some reason did not want them identified to the person they were issued to. Possibly an intelligence watch. The piece is all original with large military crown no hacking seconds. The strap appears an original military issue. Buyer beware, when shopping for this watch type outside of AdamVintage, you must be careful. Grade WG is not common. Years ago on Ebay, there was a couple sellers that flooded the market with counterfeit cases. The engraving on the back is a telltale sign of a problem...the counterfeit cases look slightly different.
