This is a stunning near mint example of a Swiss Waltham Dive or Military Watch. Notice, because of its movement, this watch is thin for its type at 11mm. The watch sits nice and flat on the wrist and is very comfortable. Just overhauled and ready to wear. There is a picture with a white background which shows how excellent this black gloss dial really is.
Case: Three-piece (case ref#B-271) 35mmx 42mm stainless steel circular-shaped case with stainless steel screw-down case back (no personal engravings) rotating bakelite bezel and sculpted band attachments.
Dial: Original Black enamel painted metal dial with faceted steel markers with tan inlays, Baton steel luminous filled steel hour/minute hands, outer minutes chapter, date window at three o'clock and steel sweep center seconds hand.
Movement: Swiss made high-grade mechanical with manual winding A Shields caliber 1802/03 seventeen (17) jewels, rhodium-plated movement.
Signed: on dial, case, crown and movement.
Band: Fitted with new R18mm very nice Tropic style silicone rubber strap with silver buckle.
Diameter: Width 35mm x thickness 11mm x lug end-to-lug end 42mm.
