This is a very rare and early small sized Patek Philippe Original Ad. The ad depicts 2 very scarce Patek Philippe men's tanks. The styling and look of the ad is more modern of the time. Patek usually stayed with more conservative looking ads. They also didn't bother doing small ads in obscure publications. Most of their ads are found full page in more exclusive magazines with more of a luxury feel to the ad. So yes, this is a very rare one. It's also a great gift for the vintage watch collector of any mantra, especially Patek Philippe. Most people don't know this, but it is very difficult to find ads of smaller sizes. Most were full page and the magazines back in the 40s-70s were huge. The ad measures about 5"x3" and is encased in a very high-end magnetic block made by Hesin or DA, the leaders in luxury block frames. These frames are not meant to hang. They are meant to stand on a desk or any other flat surface; so you don't have to worry about size or decor; as this blends in with any taste. Hesin and DA make the highest clarity block, actually clearer than the best glass, and is the thickest at approximately 1" for excellent stability. The frame is magnetic, providing just the right amount of pressure for a tight seal, but still easy to split in two to change out a photo.
