Vintage 1965 Baylor Men's Diver Watch Manual Wind 17 Jewels Swiss Caliber AS/ST 1951
This is a great lower cost divers watch from 1965. The watch is executed using the Swiss manual wind AS 1951 movement (ST) with date which beats at 21600 A/h, has 17 jewels and shock protection. This divers watch has a bi-directional rotating bezel. These are not common watches; quite tough to find in fact. This watch may not be fancy or carry a top brand name; but it is a good reliable vintage dive watch, a workhorse movement and a fantastic original dial. Also, the crystal and crown is original. The watch comes on a vintage black waterproof strap with leather backing and a textured design for the front. It may be original to the watch but I cannot guarantee it. The strap is in great condition for its age. This watch is working and keeping good time. My watchmaker replaced a gasket and cleaned and oiled the movement. The major attraction to this particular dive watch is definitely the dial - it's quite nice and shows great patina. Collectors pay a lot more for the same watch with a great dial like this. We are pricing the watch very reasonable.
