It's hard enough to find a Durapower the model with original factory enamel black dial with red pointer center sweep seconds.  The calbre 654 is a modified swiss AS/ETA movement with the first Elgin "DuraPower mainspring" that is made from "Elgiloy." It is unaffected by moisture. It will not rust. The DuraPower mainspring is guaranteed to never break in service.  This watch is 10k yellow gold filled showing no signs of brassing with a stainless steel case back.  The watch measures approximately 32mm in diameter and is c.1950's.  The Elgin DuraPower mainspring is made from "Elgiloy." It is unaffected by moisture. It will not rust. The DuraPower mainspring is guaranteed to never break in service.


It is anti-magnetic, impervious to low or high temperature and keeps near chronometer time after having just been serviced.  This is a very expensive watch in today's dollars  and we are happy to offer it at a fantastic price since we got a good deal on it.  The watch comes as shown on a semi-gloss black new Hadley-Roma strap with gold buckle.
