This is a stunning Fortis military watch from WW2. It has a rare original salmon dial and appears almost new old stock. The watch is a manual wind 17 jewel fortis movement with shock protection. The watch measures 32mm in diameter. It comes on a really cool Army green vintage canvas strap that appears to have never been worn (may be original to the watch). It is engraved on the back as shown in the pictures. Since no one looks at the back of your watch, it does not devalue the piece; instead, it is helpful to verify age and provenance. It's a stunning piece rarely seen - if you're a collector of military watches or just like them, this is one of the best Swiss examples I've seen. Just serviced and keeping good time.
