At about 35mm in diameter, this is a classic Movado automatic from the 1950s. It's all original and in near mint condition. Serviced and working well. What really makes this watch special is the Movado Caliber 7889. They're not too common, an in-house caliber with some genius design features. I especially appreciate the design of the winding rotor as it makes it so the watch winds super efficiently without using additional weight of bulk. There are also some very nice finishing on the automatic and is comparable to a much higher end brand at the time. The very clean factory original silver dial with all its luminous material still intact, this watch will not disappoint. This watch comes on a vintage dark brown lizard strap.
