Here we have the more rare configuration with the seconds being at 9 o'clock rather than 6. In fact, even regardless of that, Illinois wrist watches are quite rare since they were produced in generally small numbers for a short amount of time. The movement on this watch is an in-house made in the USA Illinois manual wind with 15 jewels; recently serviced and running very strong. The hands and dial appear original; however, I believe the crown is a replacement. The watch comes on a new Hadley-Roma matte black leather strap with a silver tone buckle.
