Rare Gruen Triple Calendar Vintage 1950s - Stainless Steel | Vintage Watch
A completely original Gruen triple calendar complication from the 1950s. Stainless steel was the least common version with a preference toward gold filled at the time. I've got to say, looking over the quality craftsmanship of this watch, especially the movement, this piece is drastically underestimated in today's vintage watch market. The watch is powered by a 17 jewel 415 CA Gruen manual wind movement that's just as nice as any Vacheron or Rolex at the time. Just recently serviced and all functions work well - keeps good time. This watch comes on a plain brown leather strap and is complete with it's anti-magnetic inside cover which is often missing. Measures approximately 32mm in diameter.
