The “Gilman” is a large watch for the era and was priced to consumers at $150.00 in 1937 - that was a hell of a lot of money then. I've never been able to offer this watch for sale because it is so elusive. I believe very few were made and only for the year 1937. It is in excellent condition showing only light/moderate wear. Caseback is excellent with no engravings. Case measures 44mm long and 22mm wide. The dial, hands, 18k applied numerals and crown all appear original. This watch is powered by its correct 19 jewel Hamilton grade 982M movement and has been overhauled and working great. The crystal is a replacement and in excellent condition. The strap is a new Hadley-Roma black leather croc embossed strap that fits the watch perfectly.
