This is a rare bird indeed and freshly serviced the properly way with an original rotating world time disk and outer marker dial, never altered nor touched. This watch is just at rare as a Hamilton Otis; or possible more rare in the 2nd iteration such as this. The first iteration used an inferior Illinois 17j Swiss movement. As far as we can tell, the watch was in production for less than 2 years with short production runs. The hands are also original. The top of this snap in case is gold filled and the basket back is all stainless steel with no personal engravings as the scan shows you clearly. From lug to lug this Hamilton manual wind cross country 2 case is 43mm long and wide less the Hamilton signed crown it is 34mm. The case is signed Hamilton and the case serial number is R-640,778. This is a manual wind Hamilton damaskeened movement 735 with 18 clean and inspected jewels. This watch has been serviced and running as it should be. The band is 18mm in width never worn in perfect order. A super clean all original Hamilton. Notice on the inner black rotating dial it is marked "G,P,M,C,E" needless to say they mean the different time zones from the West coast to the east coast and mean Greenwich Time. Advertising photo's do not come with the watch and are for reference only.
