Presented here is a rare Bulova pilot's watch executed in a full stainless steel case and one of the most prestigious chronograph movements of all times, the column wheel Valjoux 23. The case, case finish, dial, hands, pushers and crown are all original. The vintage condition of the original painted numerals is stunning. The crystal is a new replacement and the strap is a new dark brown genuine leather with alligator grain. There is some patina on the cream / silver dial and it is fairly well dispersed throughout. Recently overhauled, the watch is performing at -5 secs per day on average in 5 positions. The watch measures approximately 33mm in diameter and 38mm from lug end to lug end.
