Very rare Hamilton Otis with early caliber 980 which was the caliber used in the first (and rarer) run of production from 1938-1939. In overall excellent vintage condition, the Hamilton Otis is perhaps the most storied American Made vintage wrist watch. Fashioned after the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, there are a few different accounts of how Hamilton procured the design for the Otis; but one thing is clear, after a patent ruling in approximately 1941 brought by Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Hamilton Otis was never seen again. This is one of the rarest watches out there - don't let it slip away. I've had two others for sale in the past and they sell very quickly. This Otis is of collectors / investment grade condition.
