Offered for sale is a vintage WW2 era mechanical wristwatch dating to circa 1940s. This Racine Gallet is beautiful, clean, and in good condition. This watch was likely produced for military use or marketed toward military personnel. The watch runs well and keeps time. The case is all stainless steel and it is 30 mm wide not including the crown. It is 38mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a Gallet hand winder and it has 17 jewels. The band is a new leather replacement. The total length of the watch is about 9 1/2 inches. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial appears original and is depicted accurately in the pictures.
