Available for shipping on or after July 14, 2014, is an extreme Longines rarity; the 12.68z Stop Seconds one button chronograph in a solid stainless steel case, caseback and bezel.
There are two variations of this watch. Our example, the Stop Seconds, has only one center chronograph hand and a rotating coin edge bezel and interior pointer. The center chronograph function of this watch records seconds only. The other, more common but still very rare variation, has no rotating bezel or pointer and instead has a 2nd center chronograph hand for a total of 5 hands. We've found several auction sales for this other variation and have included links below.
As a demonstration of how rare our variation is, several days of searching for comparable sales have yielded no results. We were however able to engage the Longines Museum to verify the authenticity of the piece along with providing some specific information regarding the dating and shipping location of the original invoice. More details below.
Here are some specifics about this watch.
Size: 32.5MM not including crown
Movement: Longines Caliber 12.68z
Dial: Appears original / silvered dial
Hands: Original blued steel
Crown and case: original / stainless steel
Caseback: original / numbered / solid

This is the rarest watch we've ever encountered. If you happen to be a Longines collector, I would imagine this may be the crown jewel of a collection. Overall the piece is in excellent condition with original details. This watch will go well with both business and casual attire and comes on a new black leather strap.
