Antique Men's Railroad Approved pocket watch with a near perfect dial Hamilton grade 972 17j 16s
Here is a fantastic example of a early fairly low production railroad approved Hamilton pocket watch. The dial is near perfect with the exception of some rim chips, but with the cover on you don't see them. The dial has no cracks, harllines or repairs. The case is a yellow gold filled case and has some wear, but no major brassing or dents noted. The movement is in excellent shape and is finely finished and highly decorated. This fine example would make an excellent gift or personal purchase. We are offering it at a great value and the watch was serviced January 2019.
Correction: 4/13/2019 . This is a Silvernoid case.
