These are real stunning and fine Carnelian Stone (red with strong undertones of yellow) hand carved by a very professional carver. We came to this conclusion upon careful examination of the carvings. They are very well done! These would have been in a fine jewelry store vintage 1940's. The Intaglio style Soldiers have really great lines and handsome profiles. They are classically done with a 3/4" wide rounded square appearance that will never go out of style. These would make a great milestone gift for someone special or for yourself. This sale is for the pair of cufflinks only, no other items in the photos are included.
