The manual wind caliber 770 happens to be my favorite American Made caliber. If you not sure what I mean, I'm talking about the fine movement inside this watch that makes it run. In fact, this caliber is notable among collectors, watchmakers and horologists as being the finest American Made caliber in history. In todays modern watch market, a manufacturer watch such as this would fetch at least eight thousand dollars. Luckily, the vintage market has not caught up with the prices of todays modern pieces. This Hamilton 770 is very Patek Calatrava like in design, which makes it a classic look. Made in sold 14 karat gold, this case it very thin, as it hugs the movement nicely, but also substantial and heavy for its size of 32MM (not including the original crown). Compatible with any occasion, this is a fine dress watch that will have you checking the time often.
