We've never carried a Wenger before. It's not exactly a brand I usually associated with quality, but I've been sadly mistaken. Wenger not only has a great pedigree of a Swiss manufacturing company, but they made damn good watches at great price points. I love the fact that this watch used tritium on the dial given its age. Which means, it already started to develop a fantastic patina that will only get better with time. Back to quality, I took a lot of pictures to demonstrate instead of explaining, but in short, this watch is one awesome chunk of steel that seems like it could weather anything. The level of details in the case and bracelet are so good, that this was easily a better watch than many prestigious brands made at the time, I won't mention any names. Even better, this complicated chronograph is powered by the world's best-known Swiss automatic chronograph movement, the Valjoux 7750. It is certainly not Haut Horology, but it has proven to be incredibly reliable. Besides, one should not expect caliber refinement in a utility / military grade watch. Resources are spent on the integrity of the case, crystal, dial and bracelet; and I can tell you that no expense was spared on this watch. This watch is completely original and in excellent condition. No boxes or papers available, guaranteed authentic just like all our vintage watches. 39mm case not including any crowns, full stainless steel, high-quality screw down on all crowns and case back, sapphire crystal, excellent condition. All features work perfectly, the watch was serviced and is performing within 10 sec per day. Features abound, including an inner rotating bezel controlled by a left screw down crown, all bracelet links with over a half inch in micro adjustments - will easily fit up to an 8" wrist, day / date, 3 register chronograph...phew I'm tired now. This is a great watch - I don't think anyone would be unhappy with it.
