Rolex ref. 1002 with 18k Gold Smooth Bezel and Original 18k Gold Crown
This Rolex no-date caliber 1570 from the 1970's is in pristine condition. It's just been overhauled and is running within chronometer specs. Unlike the Airking of this era which I believe shares the ref. number; this watch is a certified chronometer. Meeting very tough standards of precise timekeeping. Well that's not a problem with the caliber 1570 - which many say is the best mechanical movement Rolex ever made. The watch measures approximately 35mm in diameter and has a nice darkened champagne dial. It's super clean and all original except for the new replacement strap and buckle. If you want to buy a Rolex without a date (I prefer these since there was no quick set date yet); this is a very beautiful pick and much less expensive than a new Rolex. Plus, we all know and vintage Rolex appreciates in value every year. A friend of mine once said, having a Rolex is like having cash in the bank...I added, yes but I bet the interest rates are better. To wrap this up, this is an awesome minty original Rolex from the 70s that works perfect as it just came out of the shop; which I guess technically it did. It comes on a matte black leather square alligator embossed strap. If you can find a better "deal" somewhere else, just remember the old saying, you get what you pay for.
