Vintage 1955 Roamer "17 Days Under the Sea" Automatic Watch with a Stunning Dial and Historically Significant
Roamer is a name most are not too familiar with; they made higher than average grade watches and was a true watchmaker. In fact, Roamer made several patents and innovations in which the foundations are still used today. Roamer also used brand ambassadors earlier than Rolex according to my own research. They werealso fierce competitors. They are still in business today in many markets around the world but not in the US. This watch is exceptional with little wear and completely original. We serviced this Roamer automatic and replaced the mainstring February 2019 . This is an important piece that belongs in a high end vintage collection or military watch collection.
